TD Biodepollution and advanced microbial biotechnologies
These tutorial sessions aim to help Master 2 students in Fundamental Microbiology understand and apply the fundamental concepts of biodepollution and advanced microbial biotechnology. They focus on the role of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, and microalgae) in the degradation, transformation, and removal of environmental pollutants. Students will explore different types of pollution, sources of contaminants, microbial degradation mechanisms, and bioremediation strategies, including in situ and ex situ techniques. Practical exercises, case studies, scientific document analysis, and problem-solving activities will be used to develop students' ability to understand microbial processes and propose appropriate biological solutions for environmental protection and restoration
