Exercise 01
An hexapolar synchronous machine has the e.m.f. across phase 1:
e1 = Фm ω sin(ωt)
1. Give the e.m.f. at the terminals of the other phases.
Exercise 02
A three-phase hexapolar synchronous machine rotates at a speed of 1000 rpm. Find its electric angular speed?
Exercise 03
In a three-phase four-pole synchronous machine, two active wires are separated by a real mechanical angle of π/2 rad. What electrical angle separates them?
Exercice 04
In a power plant, a multipole synchronous machine is driven at a rotational speed of 1000 rpm providing a frequency of 50 Hz.
1. Find the number of pole pairs p of this machine.
2. Find the mechanical angle existing between two successive coils.
