This forum aims to help students:

▪ Distinguish clearly between psychology, education, and educational psychology
▪ Engage critically with scholarly definitions and quotations
▪ Link theoretical definitions to real educational contexts
▪ Develop academic discussion and reflective writing skills
Educational Psychology emerges from the intersection of psychology and education, but it is not a simple combination of the two. It has its own objectives, methods, and practical concerns related to teaching and learning in educational settings.
Each student must write ONE original post (150–200 words) responding to the following points:

Psychology
Education
Educational Psychology
▪ Choose ONE scholarly definition of Educational Psychology from the lesson (e.g. Santrock, Woolfolk, Crow & Crow) and:
Explain it in your own words
Clarify what makes it educational rather than general psychology
▪ Give ONE concrete classroom-related example that illustrates Educational Psychology in practice.
Each student must reply to AT LEAST ONE peer (50–80 words):
